La Asociación Laboratorio de Investigación e Innovación en Arquitectura, Urbanismo, Diseño y Turismo Avanzado (El Laboratorio), en colaboración con el programa Septenio, del Gobierno de Canarias, y con la Universidad Europea de Madrid (UEM) organiza en la isla de Tenerife, el taller internacional Green Low Cost sobre nuevas oportunidades turísticas y económicas para el Valle de La Orotava, que tendrá lugar del 6 al 13 de noviembre.

Los actos públicos (conferencias y presentación de trabajos) se celebra- ránlosdías7,8,9,12y13denoviem- bre de 2010 en el Salón de Plenos del Ayuntamiento de La Orotava (Plaza El Ayuntamiento s/n).

Los interesados en acudir a dichos actos podrán hacerlo sin necesidad de preinscripción, ya que serán de acceso libre para el público (aforo limitado).

La Orotava

Sólo para alumnos ya inscritos / Only for students already enrolled

Especialmente este taller quiere centrar sus esfuerzos en el análisis y búsqueda de ideas para el futuro social y cultural de las islas turísticas y, en particular, y como ejemplo, trabajar sobre el Valle de La Orotava en la isla de Tenerife.

Participan alumnos de Arquitectura de la Universidad Europea de Madrid (UEM), Universidad de Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (ULPGC), Universidad Politécnica de Valencia (UPV), Universidad Técnica de Berlín (UTB) y Escuela Especial de Arquitectura de París (ESA).

Coordinan profesores de la UEM (Beatriz Matos Castaño, Alberto Martínez Castillo, Óscar Rueda Jiménez, Ma José Pizarro y Eva Hurtado Torán), ULPGC (María Luisa González García), UPV (Ignacio Bosch y Fernando Menis) y responsables de El Laboratorio.

This workshop aims to focus on analyzing and searching for ideas for the future of the social and cultural development of the tourist islands and, in particular, as an example, work on the Valle de La Orotava the island of Tenerife.

Architecture students are going to participate from: Universidad Europea de Madrid (UEM) Universidad de Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (ULPGC), Universidad Politécnica de Valencia (UPV) Technical University of Berlin (TU) and Ecole Spéciale d’ Architecture de Paris (ESA).

The teachers –tutors of the workshop are from the UEM (Beatriz Matos Castaño, Óscar Rueda Jiménez, Ma José Pizarro, Eva Hurtado Torán and Alberto Martínez Castillo), the ULPGC (Maria Luisa González García), the UPV (Ignacio Bosch and Fernando Menis) as well as members of the staff of the Laboratory.
